We are now precariously one point up in the standings from complete and utter embarassment. 6 games to go…all against teams battling for that last few spots. So, now it becomes the ol’ score board watching that dominates this time of year. Instead of being an OCD Rangers fan, now I have to watch EVERY GAME and hope we can get in. How much fun would a first round matchup with the Devs be…especially with Avery back in the fold? or Boston? We shall see!

Hit the “Drop the Gloves” section….some good fights. Tonight’s game included…
Drury finally does SOMETHING! Leave a comment
Even though he gave the puck away that led to that god-awful goal, he semi-redeemed himself by netting the shoot-out winner. We keep this up…we may be a force to be reckoned with come mid April!
Ahhh…a nice home-and-home weekend with Philly! Leave a comment
Hey, we are only 4 points behind the Flyers at this very moment. How good would two wins be this weekend? If we could grab even 3 out odf 4 points this weekend, I will go out on a limb and say we will make the playoffs. How the team handles these 2 very important games will tell us all we need to know as we go forward from here. Hank is slowly but surely establishing his place in the ol’ Hockey Hall of Fame for setting the record with his 4th season in a row with 30 or more wins in his first 4 seasons.

Avalanche of Goals! Leave a comment
Finally, some goal scoring! It was great to see a game that was actually entertaining in all respects (for a Ranger fan anyway). Goals, fights, scrums, goals…etc. Prucha looks revived under Tortorella. Good things so far….
