Hello, been taking a break from the blog since free agent bonanza! I am posting from the beautiful state of Maine right now, although where I am, getting a solid signal on my iPhone is tantamount to impossible! I get at most one and a half bars…which, if I turn my phone upside down, resembles Esa Tikkanens unbridged mouth.
I just saw this goodie, and couldn’t help but post it ( damn, just killed my 413th mosquito since I started typing!!!)

Ciao for now !
We got Gaborik!
Say goodbye to Colton Orr, and say hello to good ol’ Donald Brashear (who signed a 2 yr. deal!
Gomez goes to montreal in 6 player deal….we get Smithtown resident Higgins.

Just got some tweets about these stories….need to verify! Makes for some good rangers talk now that our season is done. I wouldn’t miss either one…and while they’re at it get rid of Drury as well!!!!!
Too angry to talk about today’s game. The team quit. All the players quit….with the exception of maybe Dubinsky and Callahan. Our coach got the “Avery Treatment” today. Good John, tell Avery to behave, when you yourself can’t! Now he’s palying in a confused state…you’re watching from the Box upstairs…the team is in shambles. I, am a diehard through and through, but unless they can show some signs of life on Tuesday..they are done! I try to see the good in all this…we won the third period…and the second half of the game for that matter… and that’s all the good I can find right now. Let’s hope we take game 7 on tuesday. LET’S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!
s
With the Rangers gunning for their 4th win of this series, expect Washington to unload on Henrik (as if they haven’t been already). Let’s hope Avery can stay out of the box in the third period. Last but not least, we need Zherdev and Antripov to START contributing in this series. If we make it out of this round, we get Boston. We will need everyone running on all cylinders.
Oh yeah, and we’re up 2 games to nil. Tonight’s game will be exciting as we are back at MSG for some home cookin.
Looks like Ovechkin is trying to play games with the Ranger’s heads…I don’t think it will be a smart course of action.
I’m not that optimistic, but with a solid win in D.C., and a few more like that….BAM we’re in the 2nd round. I don’t want to look too far ahead, you know, take it one game at a time, (and whatever cliche you want to add!)…
Drury….leg or wrist?? This seems to the most protected secret this side of Area 51! He’s better suited to sit out a few games, especially if it allows him to heal enough to play productively. Let’s be honest, if it’s sore and hurting now, a few playoff games later, it’ll be way worse. So, do we keep Voros in and let Drury heal, or risk further damage on Drury’s undisclosed injury…that’s the million dollar question.
As far as the goalie matchup goes…well, Theodore never, ever, ever put fear into me when the Rangers would play him…I still feel that way. Pepper him with shots and you are guaranteed a few goals.
